Make a

Charge Ahead Party

July 11, 2004

To kickoff the Children Leading the Charge campaign, ERF hosted the Charge Ahead Party on Sunday, July 11, 2004 at the solar powered home of Linda Nicholes and Howard Stein in Anaheim Hills.

More than 45 people attended the event. Eight EVs were brought by partygoers who graciously gave demonstration rides to other guests. A documentary film crew was in attendance as well, filming for their upcoming piece on electric vehicles.Representatives from Senator Joe Dunn's office and Mayor Pro Tem of Irvine Beth Krom's office were present as well. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez was in attendance and spoke to the crowd about politics, energy consumption, and environmental policy.

The overwhelmingly positive response at the event has given us great hopes for Children Leading the Charge. If you would like to get involved in this exciting campaign through donating ideas, time, expertise or funding, please contact ERF at 949-645-5163.
