Earth Resource Foundation (ERF) is excited to announce our 9th
Annual
Human
Broom
Beach
Cleanup and Youth Empowerment Day hosted by the ERF High School Clubs on November 21, 2009. ERF is a non-profit, environmental organization founded in 1999 that strives for environmental sustainability by redirecting available human, technological, monetary and academic resources.
In addition to cleaning up the beach, there will be youth empowerment workshops hosted by local business leaders & non-profit organizations for students to learn more about environmental issues affecting their communities. Because ERF has provided these resources and “empowerment” to high school student,
Orange
County
has received the benefit by ERF students becoming strong leaders in their communities. They have also used their skills to provide smokefree beaches, recycling programs, Styrofoam bans (which help the environment and businesses), educate business and city councils on Zero Waste Economies and spent 100s of days cleaning up beaches, creeks and streets!
We have many opportunities for your company to gain exposure to the over 300 high school students coming together on November 21st at
